How we work

The same five steps, every time.

Not because process is impressive, but because the alternative is what most of our clients have already lived through: work that started before anyone agreed what it was for.

  1. Discovery call: thirty minutes

You describe what is breaking. We ask about the parts you skipped. You leave with what we would do first, in order, and a real figure from the published pricing. No slide deck, and no second discovery call before you get a price.

  2. Assessment or scope: one to two weeks

For technology work, a paid assessment of identity, devices, Microsoft 365, backups and exposure, written up as a report you keep whether or not you hire us. For growth or consulting work, a written scope with a fixed price.

  3. Build: two to eight weeks

The work, done in an agreed order, with a weekly update that says what moved and what did not. You will hear about problems from us before you notice them yourself.

  4. Training and handover

Written procedures, role-based sessions of thirty to sixty minutes, and everything transferred into your accounts and your name. This is included. We will not hand over a system without it.

  5. Ongoing: monthly

One report you can read in two minutes, one invoice, one number to call, and a quarterly session about what to change next. Then a follow-up visit weeks after go-live, because the real questions arrive on day twenty.

Evidence

Why step four is not optional.

The measured gap between projects with structured adoption work and projects without it is larger than almost any other single factor in the literature.

78%

of software users say they lack the training they need for the applications their job requires.

Whatfix, 2022

31%

received an hour of training or less for software they use every day, and 51% got no role-based onboarding at all.

Whatfix, 2022

21%

of what was learned survives a month without reinforcement, in a controlled replication of the forgetting curve.

Murre & Dros, PLOS ONE, 2015

How we communicate

Boring, on purpose.

One point of contact who knows your business without being briefed. A weekly written update during a build. A monthly report afterwards. Nothing that requires you to log into a tool to find out what is happening.

If something goes wrong we tell you the same day, with what we are doing about it. We would rather deliver an awkward update than a reassuring one that turns out to be untrue.

What to expect

  • One contact, not a ticket queue you shout into
  • Weekly written update during builds
  • Monthly report, one page
  • Quarterly working session
  • Bad news the same day
88%

of projects with excellent change management met or beat their objectives. With poor change management, 13%.

Prosci

70%

of digital transformations fall short, and the people side is usually the deciding factor rather than the technology.

Boston Consulting Group

43%

of employees are willing to support enterprise change, down from 74% in 2016, while absorbing ten changes a year instead of two.

Harvard Business Review, 2023

And why we come back weeks later

Because forgetting is predictable.

A single training session at go-live is the industry norm and it does not work. Retention decays on a curve that has been measured for over a century, and the fix is reinforcement rather than effort.

So a follow-up session is part of every engagement, and the written procedures exist so that nobody has to rely on remembering a demonstration.

What we need from you

Three things, honestly.

  • One decision-maker who can approve things without a committee.
  • Access to the people who actually do the work, not just the person who bought us.
  • A willingness to change a process. If the answer to every suggestion is ‘we have always done it this way’, we will not be able to help you and we would rather find that out early.
Next step

Let’s find out what should change first.

A discovery call is thirty minutes. We ask about the business, not the software. You leave knowing what we would do first and what it would cost, whether or not you hire us.

What happens on the call

  1. You talk, we listen

Ten minutes on what is actually going wrong and what you have already tried.

  2. We name the first move

One recommendation, in order of priority, with the reason behind it.

  3. You get a number

A real price range before you leave the call. No proposal cycle, no chasing.

No sales script. No obligation. If we are not the right fit we will say so and point you somewhere better.
