Harmoni Technology

Somebody responsible for it, every week.

Managed technology is not a repair shop. It is a standing agreement that identity, devices, licences, backups and support are somebody’s job, whether or not anything broke this month.

What we hold

Five things, continuously.

These are not features on a list. They are the five places small companies actually get hurt, in the order they get hurt.

We publish what we do and what we do not. Business-hours support is unlimited at every tier because charging by the hour rewards a slow fix.

  1. Identity

Multi-factor on everyone, administrators included. Conditional access. A real leaver process.

  2. Devices

Enrolled, encrypted, patched on schedule, monitored.

  3. Microsoft 365

Licences right-sized, mail protected, sharing controlled, configuration backed up.

  4. Backup

Data and configuration, with restores tested and the result written down.

  5. Support and reporting

One number, a named person, a quarterly report in plain English.

Evidence

Where breaches actually start now.

This changed recently and most small businesses have not caught up. The most common way in is no longer a stolen password.

31%

of breaches now start with an exploited vulnerability, for the first time the single most common way in, ahead of stolen credentials at 13%.

Verizon DBIR Executive Summary, 2026

43

days is the median time to fully remediate a critical vulnerability already known to be exploited. Last year it was 32.

Verizon DBIR Executive Summary, 2026

40%

of ransomware victims said the attacker used a security gap they did not know existed.

Sophos State of Ransomware, 2025

Evidence

And how long it stays unnoticed.

241

days is the mean time to identify and contain a breach, a nine-year low, and still more than eight months of exposure.

IBM Cost of a Data Breach, 2025

26%

of breaches at small and medium businesses specifically began with an exploited vulnerability, ahead of credentials at 13%.

Verizon DBIR Executive Summary, 2026

57%

of organisations say their last major outage cost more than $100,000. One in five say it passed a million.

Uptime Institute, 2026

Microsoft 365

Most estates are both overspent and underbuilt.

The same tenant will be paying for licences nobody uses while missing a basic identity control. Both are our job.

We audit the licences in the first month and hand you the list. Whatever you save is yours. We do not take a share of it, because that creates an incentive we do not want.

54%

of organisations that rate their own Microsoft 365 security as established or advanced are still missing a foundational identity control.

CoreView State of Microsoft 365 Security, 2026

17%

have a guaranteed backup of their Microsoft 365 configuration. The rest would rebuild it from memory.

CoreView State of Microsoft 365 Security, 2026

65%

see attackers probing their Microsoft 365 tenant at least weekly, and 17% have no way of detecting tampering at all.

CoreView State of Microsoft 365 Security, 2026

48%

of all analysed breaches involved ransomware, up from 44% the year before. The median ransom actually paid was $139,875.

Verizon DBIR Executive Summary, 2026

70%

of organisations hit by human-operated ransomware had fewer than five hundred employees.

Microsoft Digital Defense Report, 2023

39%

of all small-business cyber insurance claims were ransomware, with business email compromise a further 19%.

Verizon Breach Impact Study, 2026

Ransomware

Your size is the target, not the exception.

The comfortable belief is that criminals go after large companies. The measured reality is the opposite: most human-operated ransomware lands on businesses under five hundred people.

We do not sell fear, and we reject the statistics the industry usually quotes here because we could not verify them. These we could.

Straight answers

About the boring parts.

What are your hours?

Business hours, Monday to Friday, Central time. Monitoring and alerting run continuously and genuine emergencies are handled. We will not sell you a twenty-four-hour promise we cannot staff.

Do you require a minimum term?

Twelve months for managed agreements, then month to month. The first quarter is where all the setup cost sits, so a one-month agreement would only work if we cut corners in it.

What if we grow past a band?

We move you up at the next renewal, and we tell you before it happens. You will not find a surprise on an invoice.

Can we keep our existing vendors?

Yes. We manage vendors rather than replace them by default: your phone system, your line-of-business software, your internet provider. We become the person who calls them.

Next step

Let’s find out what should change first.

A discovery call is thirty minutes. We ask about the business, not the software. You leave knowing what we would do first and what it would cost, whether or not you hire us.

What happens on the call

  1. You talk, we listen

Ten minutes on what is actually going wrong and what you have already tried.

  2. We name the first move

One recommendation, in order of priority, with the reason behind it.

  3. You get a number

A real price range before you leave the call. No proposal cycle, no chasing.

No sales script. No obligation. If we are not the right fit we will say so and point you somewhere better.
